Wow, God calls you to be an ambassador of His goodness!

SITUATION: Religious nones have grown to be the largest religious group in the US at 29%. They edged out the second largest group, Evangelical Protestants, a few years ago, who have declined to 23% today (Pew Research). Much is due to Jesus-followers not actively sharing their faith–>Survey data But here’s some exciting news: New Research: Belief in Jesus Rises, Fueled by Younger Adults

OPPORTUNITY: It’s a great time to rise up as God’s ambassador, as His messenger! WHY? It was a major priority of Jesus, and His first churches. We thrive when we work God’s harvest fields within our capacity, interests, and gifts. Communities, our society, and the world are desperate for Good News. Read the challenge below and consider it for yourself, with friends, as a small group, or church-wide.

Ambassador-Challenge (Begin when you want. Consider sharing your stories. Read stories of others. Celebrate!)

1) COMMISSIONED ONE→ A commitment, within your capacity (resources, age, location, personality), to increase your Gospel outreach by word (locally, through your church, on-line, internationally; NEED IDEAS?) 3 times among the spiritually lost, confused, and empty, in 6 weeks. (Matthew 28:19-20: “Go and make disciples of all nations,… and teaching them… I am with you always…”)
2) OF THE 72→ A commitment,…. to personally increase your Gospel outreach by word 6 times…, in 6 weeks. (Luke 10:1-17– Seventy-two were appointed and sent as laborers into his harvest.)
3) BEAUTIFUL FEET→ A commitment,…. to personally increase your Gospel outreach by word at least 9 times…, in 6 weeks. (Romans 10:15–”Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”)

Remember to celebrate! With Glory to God, and with a sense of Fulfillment, celebrate as you complete #1, 2, or 3 above. Way to go! Do it again?
